Garden Club
Clean Up
The Rappahannock County Garden Club met at the county recreation center on May 21, for a plant exchange and picnic lunch.
Garden Club members had previously put in a hard morning’s work removing sod and weeds from around the trees and ground cover that they had planted at the center, and placing mulch around the trees.
Recreation committee members' had mowed the grass and cleaned out the fireplaces.
Garden Club members hope that other groups will enjoy using the recreation center and that they will help to keep the center clean. The June meeting of the Rappahannock County Garden Club will be a trip to Garden Club Nature Camp at Vesuvius, Va.
