Picky, picky Mr. Smoot, if that’s the only example of fact twisting you can come up with. If you want to get technical, we were right in the first place. It is the same board—the Rappahannock County School Board—that reacted to gas price proposals in both instances. One member of that board may have changed but, we repeat, it is the same board.
When we make a mistake, we’ll be more than glad to acknowledge our error. No one, not even a newspaper reporter, is infallible but we strive always for accuracy and resent the implication that we deliberately misrepresent the truth.
