Rev. Powers noted that, essentially, NPEA won’t need the hook-ups if allowed to use the dumping station. He maintained, however that not being permitted to connect to electricity will be a ‘‘big inconvenience" to other campers using the site. “It will be like running a home without lights.” he said.
Gardiner also objected to the motion from Kermit Weakley, limiting electrical hook-ups to only the single camper. "For ten days only. I’d modify it to allow more," he said.
Weakley repeated his motion to allow one camper to connect to water and electricity only with no sewer hookups allowed at all and won unanimous endorsement from the rest of the board.
