I am writing to commend the Washington, Va., Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department for their performance last Saturday afternoon.
When our friend and weekend guest, Scott McCullough, fell in the rocks of Big Devil Stairs and suffered multiple fractures of the head and limbs, the Rescue Squad responded with speed and skill.
