“We have violations of the zoning ordinance all the time,” replied Gardiner. If the violations aren’t reported, he said, nothing can be done.
The camper hook-up violation was reported, Mrs. Bishoff argued.
“If you reported it, you should have put it in writing and kept a copy,” Gardiner countered.
Administrator Informed
Citizens in the area kept the zoning administrator advised of what was going on throughout the construction at the NPEA campground, according to Doris Donald. She said McNear told her that the camper hookups could be installed but not legally used and if campers were connected, they would be moved out. “We told him they were hooked-up but they weren’t moved out,” she stated. She added that she’d also talked with a member of the board of zoning appeals.
