“We’d like to do our best to comply with the community as much as possible,” Savage said, acknowledging that noise was the biggest complaint. "I wish we could say that we could do away with all noise but that's impossible,” he added.
According to Savage, there was no amplification of the singing at last year’s services. “But 200 to 300 singing—that in itself is noise," he said.
“That depends if they’re on or off key,” Gardiner quipped.
