Funeral services for Walter Raleigh Judd. 98, of Culpeper were held Tuesday at the Culpeper Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Culpeper.
Mr. Judd died Saturday. March 7, 1981, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. A native of Rappahannock County, he "> was a retired merchant and poultryman. He was the oldest member of Culpeper Baptist Church.
He is survived by three daughters. Mrs. Pasquale Monaco of Piney Point, Md.. Mrs. Edith Taylor of Culpeper and Mrs. John Henry Dixon of Brightwood; one son. John D. Judd of Culpeper; one sister, Mrs. Emma Lowman of Culpeper; twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and nine great - great - grandch ildren.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Garland Mayfield Black. 71, of Sperryville were conducted Saturday at the Clore Funeral Home by the Rev. Walter Purcell. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Black died Wednesday. March 4. 1981, in a Danville nursing home. He was a retired farmer. His parents were the late Jesse and Alder Shoaf Black.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. James Sisk of Glen Bumie. Md., Mrs. James Dodson of Pasadena, Md.. Mrs. Leonard Bunting of Danville. Mrs. Louis Hodges of Richmond and Mrs. Edward Armentrout of Woodville; one son. Garland Mark Black of Pasadena. Md.; one sister, Mrs. Lester Dorsett of Lexington. N. C.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
