“They have started working on the track again and team members can hardly wait and look forward “Ttrthe first home meet," he said. "I'd like to see more students coming out for sports. In track with only a few participating, each member has to compete in so many different areas," he added. "On small teams you can’t afford to have someone getting hurt or fouling out. Also more coaches or assistants would be helpful. That way more athletes could receive more individual attention. One person can't be with everyone at the same time."
In the future. Chris says he will have vivid memories, pleasant memories of his school years. He's made a lot of friends and gotten to know a lot of people and it’s not going to be easy to forget them.
The Senior Follies were , held on February 26 with Mr. Von Fange as Emcee. Winners included Sharon Settle, first, singing "Killing Me Softly”; Elwood Dodson and Brian Barnes on guitars with their act of “A Little Bit Of Country”; Susan Dennis in third place with her own song. "Love Song." Winners received $19.81; $9.81 and $5.00 worth of school supplies, respectively.
As of March 2, the boys baseball team has been practicing every day after* school. Coach Bob Edmondson told his team that he expects dedication and hard work from each individual, and as a team.
