“Refugee." an awardwinning original one-act play directed by Margo Figgins of Sperryville, will be presented by the Rappahannock Players at Mountain Magic Cinema in Washington this Sunday. March 15,' at 7:30 p.m.
The hour and a half program will include also a screening of Charlie Chaplin's hilarious short comedy, "The Vagabond,” as well as a theater workshop demonstration. an opportunity for the audience to interact with both playwrights and actors.
"Refugee" is aimed particularly at high school aged youngsters. A powerful drama filled with action and intensity, its theme is adolescence, the process of coming of age, the ironies involved with graduating into the "real" world.
Ticket prices are $2 for adults. SI for students with proceeds to benefit the Rappahannock Players’ stage fund.
