Mike and Oliver Brown's Mac Sub. ridden by Mike Brown, led until the Final fence when Wilhelmsen's Me Pistol jumped into the lead, only to have Dove’s Swift Victory live up to his name by flying down the stretch to be first across the wire. Winding up the program with local color was the unique hound race. Because of the high wind, the 47 hounds were released quickly, before the drag^ laying had been completed, but even so. nearly a fourth of the hounds disappeared over the mountain after the high flying scent.
