Sisk
Funeral services for John Robert Sisk, 62, of Sperryville were held Tuesday at the Geest-Johnson Funeral yome Chapel in Culpeper conducted, by .Jjxe Rq. i Charles Clinedinst. Burial ■ was in Etlan Cemetery.
Mr. Sisk died Friday, March 6, 1981 at the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal. A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late John and Terry Sisk.
He is survived by a brother, James Oscar Sisk of Sperryville; four sisters. Mrs. Janie Settle of Staunton, Mrs. Neda Fincham of Elkwood, Mrs. Fannie Sisk and Mrs. Ellen Jenkins, both of Nethers.
Burke
Orie Manuel Burke, 74, of Washington died Wednesday. March 4, 1981. in the Lynn Care Nursing Home in Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Gid Brown Bible Church near Washington by the Rev. John Burke. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mr. Burke was born May 27. 1906, in Rappahannock County, a son of the late Joshua Manuel and Ada Virginia Fincham Burke. He was preceded in death by his wife. Daisy Mae Horton Burke. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren and a retired clergyman. He was formerly pastor of the Gid Brown Brethren Church near Washington and the Browntown Brethren Church, and a former employee of the Viscose plant in Front Royal.
He is survived by three daughters. Mrs. Charlotte Corbin of Nokesville. Mrs. Iva Pitcher of Jessup. Md. and Mrs. Naomi Morris of Adelphi. Md.; 12 grandchildren; and 16 greatgrandchildren; four sisters. Mrs. Annie Mehoffey of Luray, Mrs. Ada Mae Coppage of Warrenton. Mrs. Reba Coppage of Rixeyville and Mrs. Gertrude Clatterbuck of Sperryville.
