NATIONAL AWARD WINNER Barbara Sharon of Amissville and her first place trophy—Competing in the fifth National Health Occupations Students of America Leadership Conference held this summer in Chicago, Sharan took top honors for her presentation of the Piedmont HOSA chapter’s community awareness project. Along with the trophy, she was awarded a check for $75. Rappahannock was also represented by Margie Menefee and Sharon Scott in the contingent sent to the national conference from Piedmont Technical Education Center.
