Before the main Olympics, we had games of skill. Egg tosses, balloon tosses and bag throws were just a few of the activities. In the bag throw, the kids had a bag with a string tied to it which they had to throw. When one little boy tossed his bag, it ended up sailing high in the air and landing behind him for a negative distance.
The Olympics were the highlight of 4-H day camp but plenty went on the rest of the week. There were many different classes including swimming, canoeing, woodworking and crafts. Everyone tried hard so they could win a ribbon for the excellence of their special class project.
