In the same way that his employment pjjlicy is consistant with his ideas about military spending, Toscano’s environmental policy follows logically and naturally. He supports virgorous environmental protection, including a statewide ban on uranium mining.
The coherence of his views is perhaps Toscano’s greatest strength as a candidate. Voters need not fear the clash between his attractive positions and what can really be done. His view s are all of a piece, compassionate out practical. As he is working to bring the voters a sense of new possibility, it seems especially important that your newspaper should help him get a hearing.
