4-H Share-the-Fun - April 1982
The county contest was held April 13th with Marie Davis. Susan Dennis, and Julie Burke participating. The county winner was Julie Burke, who in turn, won at district contest and went on to VPI&SU to compete on the state level. Julie was one of the top performers on the state level.
Livestock Club • April 1982
The club had Doc Johnson come to their meeting as a guest speaker. He talked about animal diseases and how to prevent them and about how to raise money for the club.
Livestock Gub - June 1982
The Livestock Club had a workshop on shearing sheep. This is part of the lamb project every year. The wool is put into a pool and sold. The profits go to the club.
