National 4-H Mobilization Week, the forerunner of what is now known as National 4-H Week, was started in 1942, and has been celebrated annually every year.
The 4-H emblem is a green four-leaf clover with a white "H" on ea”ch leaf. The four H's stand for Head, Heart, Hands and Health.
During National 4-H Week, Oct. 3-9, nearly five million 4-H members will rededicate fheir heads to clearer thinking, their hearts to greater loyalty, their hands to larger service and their health to better living.
