Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Curtis accompanied Mrs. Eleanor Timmons to her home in Alexandria on Thursday. She had been spending some time with her son-in-law and daughter here. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis visited his mother, Mrs. Julia Curtis at Front Royal on Sunday.

Mrs. Guy Foster Sr. and Betty were Sunday guests of Mrs. Foster's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Burke and their houseguest. Bennie Burke, also a brother of Mrs. Foster. Mr. Burke left Monday for his home in Phoenix, Ariz. after spending the summer here with relatives.
Dr. and Mrs. Edgar Browning and John B. Browning, all of Charlottesville spent Saturday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning. They entertained their parents at dinner on Saturday evening at The Corner Post in celebration of the Brownings 44th wed'ding anniversary.
