The supervisors agreed to reschedule a public hearing op building inspection fees for their November meeting at the request of the commonwealth's attorney, who is still awaiting information from Richmond.

In the interim, zoning administrator David Konick will work with Baumgardner, local electrician and plumber Everett Estes and supervisor Hubert Gil key. also a building contractor, on finalizing the suggested fee schedule for building permits and inspections.

In related action, the board voted to abolish Rappahannock’s building inspection department, action required in light of the decision to utilize Fauquier personnel to make inspections here.
