World War II Veteran
Jerome Jerry Jenkins, 47, of Culpeper died Thursday, September 30, 1982, in Richmond.
The Rappahannock County native was the son of Mrs. Rosa J. Jenkins of Culpeper and the late Ivan M. Jenkins. Jenkins was a salesman for Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company, a war veteran and member of Culpeper Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, other survivors include his wife, Faye Hoffman Jenkins of Culpeper; three sons. Rodney R. Jenkins and J. Jerry Jenkins Jr., both of Culpeper and R. Craig Jenkins of Ft. Eustis; two sisters. Mrs. Earl Gray Jacobs of Louisa and Mrs. James C. Smith of Atlanta, Ga. and one brother. Ivan M. Jenkins Jr. of Reno, Nev.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
