County to the senatorial race in particular was lukewarm. One of the individuals contacted in the random poll seemed to sum up the feelings of a major portion of the electorate: "1 can’t decide who will do the least harm. I don't like either of them!"
The News poll surveyed over two percent of the number of people registered to vote in Rappahannock County. With the exception of the Chester Gap-Huntly area, the> telephoning was done by government students from Rappahannock County High School.
A second poll will be conducted one week prior to the election.
