The Northern Virginia 4-H Education Center, nestled in Harmony Hollow in the Blue Ridge Mountains, is about five miles north of the Rappahannock County line on Rt. 522. According to center director John E. Dooley, the center has already been used by many people in this area as well as youngsters taking advantage of the overnight camps held there.
New this year is the swimming pool. which Dooley said is open for public use for a small charge. "Many people from the Chester Gap. Flint Hill and Washington area have come here to swim over the past summer.” Dolley said. “We invite, we encourage the use of this and any of our facilities by the public."
Dooley is excited about the potential of the center to serve people of this area. In addressing the officers of Rappahannock 4-H clubs and their parents, he said," There is no limit to what we
