Dooley’s dream of serving the widest number of people possible is being realized. This summer, over 30,000 people, adults and children, used the center. Recently, extension homemakers from Rappahannock and other counties attended a workshop on i a ing for ill family members, on coping with a retired husband, and on cooking with apples.
Scheduled for November 30 is a course on how farmers can use computers to help manage their farming business and for the middle of winter a “Summer in Winter Festival” which will feature winter sports.
