Dr. James Thornton of Gate City and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown Jr. of Tazewell were Sunday overnight guests of Brown Miller. They also visited their sister, Mrs. J. W. Fletcher.

Bobette Swindler and her roommate, Lisa Myers of Radford College spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. James Swindler. Jimmy Swindler of UVa was also home.

Mr. and Mrs. Pete Nelson of Manassas, the former Ann Lynn Hudson visited friends here Sunday.

Mrs. Maury W. Brown is spending the fall and winter with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Williams near Richmond.

Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Codding and family in Fairfax.

Mrs. Venie Dodson of Manassas was a weekend guest of Mrs. Delia Leake.

Dinner guests of Mrs. Brown Miller Saturday evening in Luray were Mrs. Mary Quaintance and A. H. Keyser of Washington.
