Marshall veterinarian, will offer a rabies clinic for area horses ai the Leeds Ruritan Park in Hume. This will be a drive through clinic with a charge of $4.00 per horse. According to Dr. Waldron, "with the increased incidence of rabies in wild animals in Fauquier County and its neighboring counties, there is now a greater chance of exposure of area horses to this fatal viral disease. Prevention of this disease can be achieved by vaccination of horses four months of age or older with a licensed vaccine.”
