Tennessee and Virginia farmers will visit Champ Hill Farm in Madison County and Somerset Plantation in Orange County Friday morning, February 10.
Champ Hill at Haywood is a family operated dairy, milking some 131 ■ cows. Owner Smokey Fitzgerald harvests high feed value alfalfa.
At Somerset Plantation, farmers will view the backgrounding and finishing feed lots. Both lots are in full production.
