Part of Cogar’s pride comes from this fact of community use. The gym is rented out nearly every night, he says. The media center is used for catered banquets. When civic groups use the school, they want to help take care of it, he says.
All of this pride-instilling appearance was not the result of any sudden building program, but rather years of effort to turn around an old school’s bad reputation, according to Cogar. The
