Our favorite “Big K” dejay Joe Boucher was on the radio Sunday—that’s right—and no, he doesn’t have to work weekends anymore. Del Davidson offered him an enormous amount of money to take the shift so Del could watch the game. Joe thinks he got the better end of that deal even if it was cold.
Pat Helmer says it w®h’t as cold as everybody told her it was going to be when she went to Massanutten Friday to ski with 28 children and a dozen adults. It was a delightful Girl Scout outing with spectacular sporting conditions.
On Saturday Pat and Richard went to Richmond to the Virginia Museum Theater to se “The Perfect Gentleman.” They also stopped and saw Wendy at school and took her out to lunch, pat described the day as “great! cold—but nice.”
The cold has continued the winter vacation for Castleton children. Martha Kidwell says her girls got in a little sleigh riding last week. And while Martha’s been home from her job at the elementary school, she says she's accomplished quite a
