If bad weather forces cancellation of school on any of those days, try-outs will also be cancelled. “Then additional auditions will be held if needed,” Allan said. Each prospective actor and actress is asked to bring a song (and music, if possible) to perform at the try-outs.
Rehearsals will begin on Monday, February 13, and will continue Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. From February 13 to March 16, they will be held in Wakefield School’s auditorium and then will move to the Gay Street Theater. “That arrangement saves us from practicing in a cold theater,” Allan noted, adding that car pooling will be arranged for performers. Shows are set for March 30 and 31 and April 1, 6, 7 and 8.
