Is Highlight
A highlight of the city we were shown yesterday is a fine Georgian townhouse built in 1763 by a Lord Fairfax where he entertained his friends at parties and dances when he came to town from his estate 20 miles away. Until recently, the house was used as a dancing school, with little regard for its special architectural qualities: elaborately adorned plaster ceilings and carved wooden doorways.
