Cnstol Porter, the new Miss Rappahannock, waa awarded her crown in the annual beauty pageant held March 30 (photo on front page of last week’s Rappahannock News). A 1983 graduate of Rappahannock County High School, Cristol was a class officer, captain of the varsity cheerleaders and standout performer on the girl’s track team. She was joined on stage at the elementary school by a court full of lovely young ladies— and one handsome gentleman.
