The pet show will be held in the lot adjacent to the Rappahannock National Bank on Gay Street in Washington Virginia. Competition will probably be stiffest for the Best Dressed awards. Contestants in the Best Dressed Cat, Dog, Chicken, Goose, Horse, Pony, or whatever categories are being encouraged to enter the show; the $1 entry fee will benefit RAAC (Rappahannock Assn, for the Arts and The Community). Daphne Hutchinson promises to dress her dog for the Best Dressed award. Patty Myers has been seen in Flint Hill in the company of a well dressed pink flamingo who, unfortunately, does not qualify as a contestant for this particular pet show by virute of being plastic. If anyone has a live flamingo they would like to enter, Patty has the clothes and glasses to fit. Well dressed flamingoes apparently like ankle bracelets, it seems.
