Of Activities
Different groups have «a full line of activities planned for race day in Washington.
The Washington Baptist Church’s annual Spring Event will begin at 10 a.m., offering plate lunches, hot dogs, beverages, baked goods, plants and treasures from Grandma’s Attic for sale.
The ladies from the Medical Center will again have a yard sale and flea market in the clinic’s parking lot on Gay Street near the finish line.
Following the award of race trophies on the courthouse grounds, judging will get underway in the pet show across the street, sponsored by the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community. After the pet show, RAAC will also sponsor a break dancing exhibition.
In addition, shops in the town of Washington will be open.
