Thus far, the only singing dog to have surfaced is Artoo, a German Shephard belonging to Angela and Davy Houston of Amissville. Artoo sings when accompanied by a clarinet or any high pitch.

Joe Sherman of Etlan was asked about a singing dog and volunteered “No, I don’t have one—but I may be able to find you a dancing rabbit.”

Worden Robinson of Nethers Mill was asked to enter his geese (they come in pairs) but he doubted he would be able to catch them. He is considering entering a handsome 14” white trout.

“As long as they are alive, we welcome any contestant” reports the chairman, “and surely any trout, regardless of color, is bound to win the Best Trout award”.

Cosie, a cat belonging to Diane and James Wood would undoubtedly win the Only Three Footed Cat award if entered in the contest.
