7. Keep black, gray, dead and burry wool, crutchings and lamb fleeces separate from clear wool.
8. Use recommended wool bags and pack wool tightly. A properly packed wool bag should hold a minimum of 200 pounds of wool. Plans for a wool-packing rack are available through the extension office.
9. Tie or sew bags with cotton twine. Do not use binder or baler twine.
10. Store wool up off the ground in a dry building and away from any source of moisture.
