The United Methodist Churches of the Rappahannock Charge will have Easter services as follows: Maundy services at 7:30 at Willis Chapel on Thursday and Good Friday services on Friday, April 20 at Sperryville.
Services on Easter Sunday, April 22 will be Sunrise service at 6 a.m. at Flint Hill; worship service at 10 a.m. at Willis Chapel and 11:15 a.m. worship at Sperryville. Sperryville worship has been changed from 8:45 to 11:15 for this special service.
The Rev. Merlin Shorb, pastor will deliver the messages for these services.
Community Good
Friday Services
A community Good Friday Easter Service will be held at the Forest Grove Baptist Church at Viewtown together with the Amissville Baptist Church on Friday evening, April 20 at 7:30 p.m.
The Rev. Joseph S. Stirman, pastor of the Amissville Baptist Church will preach the sermon and the Amissville Choir will provide special music for the service.
Everyone is invited to attend.
Anniversary Celebration
The Usher Board of Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill will celebrate their anniversary on Sunday, April 15 at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Alfred Jones and his choir from Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Triangle will be guests. The public is invited. The Rev. James A. Price is pastor of Macedonia.
