Dance
The LAST MINUTE WOOD COMPANY, Rappahannock County’s modern dance troupe, is starting work on a new piece of dancer/theater. SALLY NASH, the group’s director, is experimenting with bimonthly meetings: to acquaint potential dancers with the group’s process, to try out new movement material that she has developed on herself and to gather material from improvisational structures based on the concepts she is .currently exploring.
The group’s most recent piece, “Seen Through Moving Water,” is loosely based _bn poems bv Steve Orien and took a ydfcr to complete. It has been performed in a Maryland streambed, twice in Washington, D.C. and in the county.
