Woody Allen’s brilliant “Zelig”, the RAAC film of the week, runs Friday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 7 and Monday at 8.
This ingenious parody of the documentary style uses actual newsreels with Zelig turning up everywhere. He is a little man who becomes somebody by being nobody (or maybe nobody by being somebody) by taking on the characters of people he meets. Allen co-stars with Mia Farrow.
Exercise Hour Planned
The Rappahannock County Cooperative Extension Staff is sponsoring a Diet and Exercise hour at Trinity Episcopal Church from noon until 1 p.m. each Tuesday, starting April 17 and running through May 22. Cost will be $1 per person per session.
The group will be doing stretching and trimming exercises, talking about diets and sharing “low cal” lunches. So bring a bag of carrot sticks, celery sticks, a Jello salad or any other low-cal foods to share with everyone and the extension staff during lunch break.
