into hot pint jars. To each jar add 3-4 sprigs of tarragon (V* teaspoon if dried), a peeled clove of garlic cut into small pieces, a small bayleaf and 3-4 black peppercorns. Cover with a boiling solution of 1 cup water to 1 cup white vinegar. Seal the jars and process them in a boiling water bath for 7 minutes. Wait about 20 days before sampling.
