“Oh, this show isn’t as competitive as it will be fun. Everyone will receive an award—we’re just after amusement” said chairman Sandra Cartwright-Brown of the RAAC Pet Show to be held Saturday, April 21, after the Fodderstack Race awards are presented.
Thus far the show has great promise. Bogart, a pit bull who is winner of load and national Ugly Pet awards, will be given a run for the money by a one-eyed English bull dog owned by the master of ceremonies, Larry LeHew. The judges will be hard pressed to declare which of these two is the ugliest.
It sounds as though Hugo, a cross breed owned by Eric Kvames of Gid Brown Hollow, will walk away with the Best Tricks category—if not that, then the Most Tricks category. Hugo will demonstrate Ids skills at begging, rolling over, standing at attention
