The wedding of Tammy Louise Huff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Huff, Jr. of Washington to Glenn Edward Tharpe, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Tharpe of Castleton took place Saturday, August 25 at 2 o’clock at the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville. The Rev. Douglas Farmer performed the double ring ceremony in a setting of white and purple chrysanthemums which were provided by Ginger Compton. Organist Ginger Compton provided the wedding music. The bride given in marriage by her father wore a formal length gown of nylon lace over acetate taffeta lining with acetate nylon lace trim. A ribbon and button trimmed yoke were framed by a deep ruffle. It was accented with ruffle cuffs at wristb and a ribbop ti^ln at the waist. The veil was attached by a” headpiece of nylon trimmed in lace. She carried a bouquet of white, pink and purple carnations and white roses. Mrs. Shirley Ralls of linden was the matron of honor. Her lavender chiffon gown was lined with acetate taffeta. She carried one long stem purple rose accented with a white ribbon and lace. BLACK KETTLE RESTAURAHT Washington.
