Bridesmaids were Mrs. Brenda Lee of RixeyviUe and Peggy Tharpe of Edinburg. Their gowns were pink and blue nylon lace over acetate taffeta lining with velvet inserts of dark pink and blue at the shoulders. They each carried one long stem pink and blue rose accented with white ribbons and lace.
Ike L. Ralls of Linden and cousin of the bride was best man.
Ushers were John Tharpe, uncle of the groom and Roger Huff, brother of the bride.
Candie Linbeck of Manassas and Melinda Ralls were flower girls. They wore blue gowns of sheer polyester over acetate taffeta lining. Tliey each carried a white basket filled with purple daisy petals.
Darren Tharpe, cousin of the groom was ring bearer.
The bride> mother, p}wq<{,,*,i#o piece gray pin stripe suit accented with a corsage of purple chrysanthemums.
The groom’s mother chose a light blue street length dress accented with a corsage of white roses.
Mary Belle Tharpe served the cake while Donna Flinchum served the punch and attended the guest book.
Showers were given by Mrs. Linda Clark and Mrs. Dorothy Ralls of Washington and Mrs. Elaine Tharpe of Castleton.
The bride is a 1984 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
The groom is a 1983 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and is employed by Jim McKay Chevrolet in Manassas.
Following a wedding trip to New Market the couple is residing in Castleton.
