Players To Present ‘Wait Until Dark*
"Wait Until Dark," a mystery, will be the winter production of the Rappahannock Players on the weekends of November 80 and December 7. Performances will take place at the Gay Street Theatre in Washington.
A cast of seven has been chosen in recent tryouts. Members include: Tutt Barrie, in the role of Susie Hendricks; 8tuart Eiland, playing Mike Talman; Sean Kilpatrick as Carolino; Howard Coon in the role of Roat; Mike Connifey playing Sam Hendricks; Sherry Burke as Gloria; and the policemen, played by Vincent Hannon and Jim Caliandro.
Ibis British drama, which was written by Frederick Knott and first presented in London in 1966, is a timeless tale concerned with a young blind woman.
Don Bomberger will direct the cart while Michaline Hosteller, President of the Players, will have overall responsibility for production of rehearsals which have already begun.
Others from the community have joined members of the players in volunteering for numerous related roles, including: Sarah Shorter, props; Steve Hosbetter, seta construction; Sam O’Conner, costumes; Pam Russell, make-up; Linda Heimstra, scenic artist; Dawn Fisher, box office; Bell Young, photography; Mitrie Young, publicity.
