The Rappahannock County Student Parent Teacher Association (STPA) began planning for the year during their first meeting on Wednesday, October 17.
Monica Toman, secretary for the group, said that at least 25 parents and teachers were present at the meeting, and that there is a need for more participation. New officers were elected, and are: president, Betty Bennett; vice-president, Linda Lamm; and treasurer, Cecily Kohler.
