Col. Ret. and Mrs. Thomas E. Colvin of Sperryville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Patricia Anne to Mark Howard Oring, son of Mrs. Seymour Oring of Forest Hills, Ne\^ York and ' the late Mr. Oring.

Miss Colvin is a 1979 graduate of Colorado State University in the Occupational Therapy Program and a 1983 graduate of University of Southern California School of Medicine Physicians Assistant Program. Miss Colvin is employed as a Physician Assistant in Los Angeles, California.

Mr. Oring is a graduate of City College of New York and Columbia University College of Physicians and" Surgeons in the Physical Therapy Program. He attended Indiahna University in Bloomington, Illinois as a doctoral candidate. Mr. Oring is also a graduate of Hastings University School of Law in San Francisco and has his practice in Beverly Hills, Califor-, nia. ’

Miss Colvin is the granddaughter of Mrs. H.H. (Jack) Colvin of Culpeper and the late Mr. Colvin.

The wedding will take, place on Thursday, the eighth of November at 2 o’clock in Pacific Palisades, California.

Exhibition of Fine Artsf will be | held Sunday at the Northern Virginia Community College.

Sponsored by NVCC Manassas and the Manassas Art Guild, {he show of works by Washington arda; artists will continue through Nov. 16.

The reception, open to tjie public without charge, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Learning Resource Center on the first floor of the main classroom building.
