Don’t forget a Halloween party sponsored by the Amissville Ladies Auxiliary will be held Oct. 31 at the Amissville Fire Hall, 7:30-9:00 p.m. There will be a 50 cents charge at the door that will cover games, refreshments and a haunted house. Prizes for all age groups.
The Amissville United Methodist Church will have their annual Halloween party on Friday, Oct. 26 at the church from 7:30-9:30. All children welcome.
The Amissville Firemen and Ladies Auxiliary will have a yard sale on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. There will be pumpkins, apples, hamburgers, hot dogs, pies and cake. The event will be held at the fire hall-on Route 211.
The Amissville Methodist Church will show a film on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. at the church. Everyone welcome.
Mrs. Elinor White of North Carolina was a recent guest of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hackley. Sunday evening callers of the Hacldeys were Joe, Brenda, and Brandon of Strasburg.
Mrs. Virginia Bland of North Carolina was been a recent guest of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hackley.
