John R. Fincham

John Robert Fincham, Sr., 93, of Berryville, died Thursday, October 18 in Winchester Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services were held on Saturday at Green Hill Cemetery in Berryville by Dr. Daniel L. Garrett.

Mr. Fincham was born October 22, 1890, in Rappahannock County, son of the late James Marshall and Annie Dodson Fincham. He was a retired orchardist from Moore and Dorsey, Inc. and was a member of Arden United Methodist Church in Arden, West Virginia. His wife was the late Emma Woodward Fincham.

Surviving are three daughters, Catherine F. Ashby and Henrietta Broy, both of Berryville and Genevieve Council of Clayton, Delaware; two sons, John Robert Fincham, Jr. of Frederick County and Roy M. Fin-' cham of Winchester; a brother, Purcell Fincham of Frederick County; two sisters, Anna Leake of Winchester and Gurtha Brown of Frederick County; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother.

Enders Funeral Home in Berryville was in charge of the arrangements.
