Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary Dinner
A Country Fried Chicken dinner sponsored by the Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary will be held on Saturday, May 11 at the Sperryville fire hall. In addition to the scrumptious chicken the menu will include a variety of vegetables, desserts, hot roils, butter, tea and coffee.
Carryout service will be from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. and serving time will begin at 5:30. Prices are $6 for adults and $3 for children. Tickets may be purchased in advance from any member or at the door.

Ruritans To Meet
The Amissville Ruritan Club will meet on Wednesday, May 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Amissville Baptist Church. All members and interested persons are urged to attend.
Sperryville 4-H Club To Meet
The Sperryville Community 4-H Club will meet on Monday, May 20 at 7 p n at the Sperryville fire hall. All area youngsters between the ages of 9 and 19 are invited. For additional information call 675-3249 or 987-8058.
Boy Scout Open House At R.C.E.S.
A Boy Scout Open House, sponsored by Troop 36 of Flint Hill, Troop 50 of Amissville and Troop 123 of Washington will be held on Monday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School.
Parents and boys between the ages of 10 and 18 are urged to attend. In addition to the recruiting of new members, troop leaders will discuss scouting and will be on hand to answer questions. For additional information contact leaders, C.E. Giles, Rufus Baines or Clarence Dodson.
