Krebser Reappointed
At the board of supervisors’ regular meeting on May 6, Dr. Werner Krebser was reappointed to the planning commission. Planning commissioners serve four year terms.
• Shrubs Stolen
The Rappahannock Garden Club recently purchased and planted evergreen shrubs on the triangle at the intersection of routes 231 and 522 in an effort to beautify Rappahannock’s roads. Over the weekend, however, the shrubs were pulled up and stolen by persons unknown.
The triangle is maintained by the Garden Club and not by the government. The club will replace the shrubs with perennial plants in the hopes that they will be allowed to grow and add to the beauty of Rappahannock.
