Retired Teachers To Meet

The Rappahannock County Retired Teachers Association will meet at the Quality Inn in Front Royal on Tuesday, May 14 at 11 a.m. Bruce Hundly from the Social Security Office in Culpeper will speak.

The 55/Alive Mature Drive will be discussed. Membership dues will be collected. The Association invites retired teachers that are new to the County to attend. For additional information call Margaret Dodson at 675-3305.

Parent Teacher Association Meeting

And A ‘Spring Program’

The Rappahannock County Elementary School Student Parent Teacher Association will hold a brief business meeting on Thursday, May 16 at 7 p.m. in the elementary school gymnasium. The purpose of the meeting will be to elect officers for the 1985-86 school year and to give an update on playground improvements. Parents are urged to attend. A “Spring Program” will be presented by children in kindergarten through 7th grade at 7:30 following the meeting.

10 Steps To Better Breathing

The Respiratory Care Department of Warren Memorial Hospital is sponsoring a program entitled “10 Steps to Better Breathing”. Adults who suffer from chronic asthma, bronchitis or emphysema are encouraged to attend. Cost of the 10-week program is $25. The first meeting will be held Thursday, May 16.
