“Taking Away” is a short trio based on the gestures people use in day-to-day conversation. “Caged Marbles,” choreographed by Suzanne May, has a magical, stream of consciousness form, making use of contact and weight dependency between the dancers.

“Intentions of Spring,” choreographed by Mitch Mercurio and Laura Schandelmeir, is an evocative, romantic dialogue between two dancers, set in the out-of-doors. Both Maureen Day and Mitch Mercurio are former dancers with Rappahannock County’s Last Minute Wood Company, directed by Sally Nash, who is performing in the second half of the evening.

The second half is comprised of a 30-minute work by Laura Crowne, director of the Moving Arts Center in Warrenton. “The Ground Between Us”
